Dreams accompanied the birth of Jesus, as well as his death. Pilate’s wife suffered in a dream and took it as a warning. Edwards speculated that this “dream was probably from some good angels.” 414. Sermon on Isaiah 53:3(b). (May 1755, November 1736), in WJEO 51.
